Camp Director

JERRY DEFABBIA
Jerry DeFabbia is currently the Tuckahoe High School Head Baseball Coach. He has over 18 years of experience at the collegiate level. Most recently, Jerry DeFabbia was a member of the coaching staff at Fordham University.

Prior to Fordham, DeFabbia was the head coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University for 6 years. Over that span, he guided five players to All-Northeast Conference selections, while 18 players earned New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association honors.

Before FDU, DeFabbia served as assistant at Pace University from 2001-2004 and Iona College from 1999-2001. His coaching career began at Fairleigh Dickinson University from 1997-1999.

Camp Staff

All camps are staffed by current and former collegiate players and coaches. The camp staff is dedicated to making sure the campers learn the fundamentals of baseball while having fun and enjoying each other as well as the game.

Location

The camp will be held at Haindl Field in Eastchester, NY. Field is located behind Fresh Market.

Insurance

Parents’ personal insurance should cover all external emergency care should it be needed. The Camp Staff is certified in CPR and First Aid.

Camp Philosophy

This a camp designed to teach young players all areas of the game (offense, defense, pitching, catching, base-running, fielding, etc.). Our fun and learning drills will improve each player’s baseball and softball skills and give them a better understanding of how the game is played.

Tuition

The camp cost is $275.00 for the 9am-2pm session and $375.00 for the 9am-3:30pm session. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required for each week with the completed application to ensure your placement each week. The remaining balance will be due on the first day of each camp.

**The cost for the 2-day camp on July 2-3 is $200 for the full day (9am-4pm).

Lunch

All campers need to bring their own lunch. Campers will not be allowed to leave the camp for lunch. We are a peanut free camp.

Inclement Weather

Camp is four days a week (Mon-Thu). Fridays will be used as a rain-date for any inclement weather.
